There are no words that could convey our heartfelt thoughts.
Joe Cortez was a wonderful husband who loved our Mama Connie with all his heart. When she made her transition to heaven, a spark of light left him.
He was a loving Father to all of us, opening his welcoming arms and heart, no matter the circumstances.
His Grandchildren were the light of his life and there was no one more proud.
He was a true and loyal friend to many and his home was always open.
Joe Cortez will remain in our hearts forever and never be forgotten. May he rest in peace now that he is surrounded by all of those who went before him.

Joe was a fine man. I worked with Joe at his part-time job at Chicken Delight in Santa Cruz and remember him being so patient as he was teaching me to drive.
