EDWARD H. GARCIA, July 31, 1932 – April 23, 2020.  From Reserve, New Mexico is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Josie Magana Garcia, his 5 children, Mary Lou Tristan (Ramiro), Virginia “Ginnie” Diaz (Manuel), Anthony (Mary Ann), Larry, Leonard (Lorraine).  Blessed with 19 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.  Also survived by his siblings, Benny, Clara, Robert, and Priscilla.  He is proceeded in death by his parents Ben and Emeila Garcia, siblings Ellen, Clive, Willie, Nana and Della, granddaughter Desiree Garcia and great-grandson Angelo Tristan.  

Edward and Josie were married August 10, 1952 and would have celebrated 68 years this August.  Our dad enjoyed camping and fishing, dancing, and cooking.  He was a feisty and joking man.  He was greatly loved by not only his family but many friends.  We would love to give a special thank you to Donna Sicovitch, who took such great loving care of our dad.  

Daddy, you will be greatly missed, and you are so greatly loved.

Sending my deepest condolences to my Aunt Josie, my cousin's Mary Lou, Ginnie, Anthony, Leonard and Larry.
I have fond memories of my Tio Wally, he had the gift of laughter, he could cheerbyoubup with his stories of growing up in Reserve.
He will be greatly missed.

Fondly thinking of all of you during this difficult time. I too have fond memories of special times our families spent together over the years. I'm am so sorry for the loss of Tio Wally. He was a special man and will be greatly missed. May God bless Tia Josie and each and every one of you and may He give you please and comfort. My condolences to the Garcia family. I am very sorry for your loss. Eddie was a very good man that I have known since I was a little girl. You are a wonderful family and I pray that God watch over you during this difficult time. I pray that God especially watch over Josie as she grieves the loss of her long time partner. My heart goes out to Aunt Fina and all my cousins and there families.
Uncle Eddie will be in my heart forever he was the kindest man with such a big heart . You will be missed very much .

To the family of Mr. Garcia my best wishes and condolences are with you in this time of grieving and especially in these even greater times of uncertainty Leonard this is your rother from Sunnyside Andy Fernandez some affectionately call me the mayor of Sunnyside others new me as the shark on the pool table- Blessed be our days in the name of our Lord Jesus Crist and with his name we take him forward into tomorrow as we are certain no matter what as we walk through the sunshine and the devouring darkness of the valley of death that I will have no fear as the Lord is my savior and my Shepard whom guides his sheep to lye in great pastures of bountifulness in all that we need is his graceful hand upon us and we will be in his kingdom with him always - Amen-!!!!
