Apolinar (Peni) Torres

Peni was born in Seligman, AZ on January 5, 1935 to Luz and Jessie Torres. He graduated from Seligman High School.
He met the love of his life Beatrice (Bea) Torres; they married June 1, 1957. Peni worked at NAU for 47 years as a chef he retired in 2006.
Peni is survived by his son Richard (Shake) Torres, daughter Gloria Torres, one grandson Andrew Martinez, one great granddaughter Desirae Martinez and his future son-in-law Bobby Garcia, his brother –in-law Rudy Sanchez (Mary), sister-in-law Emma Martinez (Frank), many loving nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Paco.
He is preceded in death by his wife Bea and infant son Arthur, sisters Carmen, and Paula, brothers Polo, Manuel, Eddie, Leslie, Luchie and his parents.
Services will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel on August 10, 2013, Holy Rosary will start at 9:00 am followed by memorial mass at 10:00.
