Barbara J. Gilman, age 86, of Flagstaff, Arizona, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022, after a brief hospital stay. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Edward Gilman; her beloved daughter Kimberly A. Bryan; treasured stepsons Gary M. Gilman (Katherine), Steven A. Gilman (Julia);cherished grandchildren Kellie B. Santiago (Matthew), George E. Gilman, Ian S. Gilman, Hannah J. Gilman, Abigail S. Gilman, Samuel B. Gilman; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was the much-loved daughter of the late Helen and John Ruse and is preceded in death by her younger sister Suzanne R. Malcolm (James), her daughter Kathy L. Barnes, her son Kurt R. Bryan, and stepson Neil R. Gilman (Sherraine).

Barbara was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist and enjoyed traveling with Edward and spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held in Pittsburgh, PA at a later date. The internment will be private at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sharon's Attic, 1926 N. 4th Street, Ste. 5, Flagstaff, AZ 86004.
