IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carla Ann
Poitras Gamache
January 31, 1948 – February 11, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Carla Ann Poitras Gamache, who passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, with her husband and best friend of 36 years, Raymond, by her side.
Carla was born on January 31, 1948 in Klamath Falls, Oregon and was a longtime resident of Flagstaff, Arizona.
Wife, mom, grandma, great "Mooma," and greatest-granny - She had a gentle spirit, a strong heart, and hands that were always creating something beautiful - especially through her crocheting, which she poured love into stitch by stitch. Many of us will forever treasure the blankets, gifts, and handmade pieces she created, each one a reminder of her patience, care, and creativity.
Carla loved traveling with Ray and making memories side by side throughout their 36 years together. She also enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing card games - especially cribbage - and dates at the casino.
Above all, she loved her family deeply. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Ray; her daughter, Angela; her grandson, Christopher Sr. (Tiffany); her granddaughters, Amanda (Angelo), Jessica (Erik), and Alizabeth (Justin); her great-grandchildren, Christopher Jr., Arianna, Adyn, Christian, Carter, Noah, and Camryn; and her great-great-granddaughter, Analea. She was also cherished by extended family, dear friends, and her sweet kitty, Marley.
She is reunited in peace with her parents, Stanley and Vera; her sister, Paula; her precious great-great-grandson, Christopher III; and other loved ones who have gone before her. Our faith gives us comfort and hope that love continues beyond this life.
We are so grateful for the memories, the laughter, the lessons, and the love she gave so freely. We loved her so much, and we will miss her more than words can express.
In honoring her wishes, no services will be held. Granny, we love you forever. Until we meet again.
