Loving husband, father, son and larger-than-life friend, Christopher A. Balderas passed on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix.

Chris is survived by his wife Debra Balderas; son Jacob Balderas, daughter-in-law Rebecca and granddaughter Evie; brother Clif Balderas and sister Cheri Schrader. Chris is the son of Albert Balderas and the late Edna Balderas. A life-long resident of Flagstaff, Chris was born August 22, 1955 and graduated from Coconino High School in 1973.

Chris worked in the construction industry for many years and was a well respected professional heavy haul transport driver. He is currently a member of the Cruzers Car Club and the Corvette Car Club. Chris was an attending member of The Commons church. Chris' passion was for hot rods, motorcycles and deep friendships. One to always care for others, Chris was compassionate and selfless, making friends wherever he went.

A Celebration of Life for Chris will be held on Tuesday, May 29 at 3 pm at the Oakmont Flagstaff Country Club.
