March 13, 1986 – June 23, 2024
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Cindel Marie Carrizoza. Who was taken away from us too soon on June 23, 2024, at the age of 38 years old.
Cindel brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with her kind heart, radiant smile and boundless curiosity. Though her time with us was short, the depth of love and happiness she shared will forever remain in our hearts. Cindel was born on March 13, 1986, to Esgardo Carrizoza and Monalisa Burns.
She graduated from Douglas High School in 2004. She then attended the New York Academy of Arts, which she received her degree in creative writing. She also received a certificate from the American Sign Language school.
Cindel is preceded in death by her father, Esgardo Carrizoza and grandparents, Raul and Francisca Carrizoza, Ramon (Monchi) and Adela Gozales. Cindel is survived by her mother, Monalisa (Jim) Burns, brother Saul (Naomi) Carrizoza, Sister Cynthia Carrizoza, brother JJ (Lydia) Burns. She is also survived by her nieces Jewel, Keeli Carrizoza, Leia and Everly Burns, nephew Kadin Carrizoza and her best friend doggie Beasley. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 20, 2024, at St. Lukes Catholic Church (1211 E 15th Street, Douglas, AZ). With a rosary at 10:15 AM, followed by a mass of resurrection at 11:00 AM. Celebration of life will follow the mass at (YMCA Plaza, 1000 Pan American Ave, Douglas, AZ 85607).
Pallbearers: Alexis Rosadillo, Crystal Anderson, Adriana Samaniego, Fransua Durazo, Joe Carrizoza and Secily Rosadillo. Honorary Pallbearers: Jewel, Keeli and Kadin Carrizoza.
Our Booboo (Cindel) will extremely be missed by us all, even though she is gone she will forever remain in our hearts.
