Dave Wilson passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, January 14, 2013. He was born in Flagstaff on July 13, 1986. He was 26 years old. He went to Sinagua High School and graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2009.
Dave was proud of his work in video journalism. His success as a student producer included a National Broadcast Society award in 2008. Dave wrote, filmed and produced the university's television nightly news series NAU Live! For 3 years while a student at the university.
Dave was an outdoorsman and went on to start his own successful landscaping business. He loved playing guitar, especially with his brother, Brian. His hobbies included snowboarding, photography and painting. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Dave was creative, talented, loving and generous. He always had open arms to everyone.He had two dogs and cats that he loved dearly. He is survived by his parents, John and Julia Wilson, his brother Brian, his Grandpa Bob and many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him greatly.
David never missed a family reunion or occasion to get together. He cherished family and friends. The Memorial Service will be at St. Pius Catholic Church on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11:00 am.
