Deanna Kuper

Deanna Kuper, born on January 4, 1946, in Napa, California, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and accomplishment. Deanna’s life was a testament to the value of family, hard work, and community.

Deanna grew up in the warmth of her family, the beloved daughter of Clifford Mullen and Adeline Hawkins, both of whom preceded her in death. From her earliest days, Deanna exhibited a spirit of determination and care that would characterize her life’s journey.

Throughout her life, Deanna dedicated herself to her passion for animals, finding her calling as a dog trainer and business owner. She not only nurtured and trained countless dogs, but also built a respected business, touching the lives of clients and their cherished pets with professionalism and kindness. Her expertise earned her lasting respect among her peers and grateful affection from all who benefited from her patience and knowledge.

Outside her professional life, Deanna found great joy among the Red Hat Ladies, a group that brought laughter, camaraderie, and adventure into her life.

Deanna’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Steve Kuper, her loving sons, Duane Mantey and Vern Johnson, her dear sister Patricia Cassayre, and her cherished grandchild, Mario Hernandez. Each of them will forever carry with them the lessons, love, and warmth that Deanna so selflessly gave. Her nurturing spirit and steadfast support will continue to live on through her family members.

Deanna’s absence is a profound loss to her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Yet, her memory will endure in every story shared, every lesson remembered, and every moment of joy inspired by her remarkable life.

A funeral service to honor Deanna’s life will be held on July 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at FlagNaz church, located at 3505 E Soliere Ave, Flagstaff, AZ. All who knew and loved Deanna are invited to attend and pay their respects.

Deanna Kuper’s journey was one of kindness, tenacity, and heartfelt connection. She will be deeply missed, and her legacy will be cherished always.
