Doris Nell Capps passed peacefully into her Savior's arms on Saturday, January 18, 2020, in Flagstaff, Arizona at the age of 84.Doris was born on April 12, 1935, in Ballinger, Texas to R.Q and Eula Kinney who preceded her in death.She was also the sister to Jim Kinney who also preceded her in death.Doris was married and a housewife to Edward Gene Capps, Sr. for 51 years until his death in November 2004.She had three children, Edward Capps, Jr. (Kathy), Lori Cook (Dennis), and Paul Capps (Kim).She also had 7 grandchildren and 23 greatgrandchildren.Doris was a true believer in Christ and dedicated her life to serving her family and her Savior.She learned to play the piano when she was 12 years old and has played the piano and sang in the choir in church until a few weeks before her death.She was also a Sunday School teacher throughout her lifetime and helped to teach people about how to live for Jesus.She was a prayer warrior and prayed fervently for her family and friends daily.Doris loved Jesus and her family and even though she will be missed on earth, another Angel is rejoicing at the feet of Jesus today.The funeral for Doris will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Ponderosa Baptist Church located at 3004 N. Main Street, Flagstaff, Arizona, 86004.
