Obituary

Edwin "Ted" Parks passed away on February 11, 2024, in Flagstaff, Arizona.  He was born on January 24, 1953, in Toronto, Canada, but came to the United States the day he got out of the hospital.  He attended the University of Arizona both for his undergraduate degree and for his law degree.  He spent a few years in private practice in Tucson before moving to Kingman, Arizona where he worked for a number of years in the County Attorney's Office.

Ted enjoyed boating and spent many weekends with his boat and his friends on the Colorado River, Lake Havasu, and Lake Mead.  He also enjoyed riding a motorcycle in the mountains around Kingman. Unfortunately, for the past 23 years, he was dealing with a disability that rendered him legally blind and unable to participate in many activities that he enjoyed.  He enjoyed playing the guitar and going out with friends.

He is survived by his son Christopher Parks and his sister Louise Hytken.  A celebration of life will be held in Kingman, and he will be buried in Taber, Alberta, Canada where he enjoyed many happy summers with his cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that you make a donation to your favorite charity in Ted's name.
