Elijah Timothy Begay, 19, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Elijah was born April 17, 1996 in Flagstaff, Arizona to Loretta Begay-Christensen and Ronnie Davis.Elijah attended Flagstaff High School and proceeded with his education at Ponderosa High School, where he would have been receiving his diploma in December.

Elijah was a very independent person.He loved to always be with his family and friends.He enjoyed hiking, listening to music, playing with his nephew and niece, but his passion was skating.

Elijah is survived by his mother Loretta Begay-Christensen, stepfather Tim Christensen, father Ronny Davis, sister Lorita Begay-Bighorse, nephew and niece, Lucas and Lily Bighorse.

A candlelight vigil will be held in Elijah's memory, Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Bushmaster Park.A public viewing will be held Monday, November 9, 2015 from 8:00 am to 9:00 am at Christ's Church of Flagstaff, 3475 E. Soliere Avenue.A service will also be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Christ's Church of Flagstaff.Graveside services and burial will follow at Citizens Cemetery.
