Ernestina Bobadilla Rosell Alaniz - was born in Flagstaff, Arizona on August 12, 1934, to Cresencsio and Manuela Bobadilla. She was the oldest of four siblings composed of two brothers and one sister. IsmaelBobadilla, Antero Bobadilla and Felicitas Bobadilla. Ernestina is survived by her sister Felicitas, her husband Manuel Alaniz and one son Roberto Rosell. Early on Ernestina loved working at her family's store El Desierto Grocery. In her mid-twenties she married and left the family business and moved to Phoenix in 1960 where she remained until her passing on Friday, June 24, 2022. Ernestina lived a vibrant life and enjoyed her time on this earth with family and friends. She was a preschool and kindergarten teacher for twenty years and was fondly spoken of by her staff, students and their parents during her career. Many kids gave "Miss Tina" pictures and drawings as a sign of how much they liked her as their teacher. She also worked part time for many years at The Arizona Costume Shop, a job she said brought her so much joy in getting people dressed up for holidays and celebrations. Ernestina also enjoyed the outdoors and on her off time liked to setup a tent in surrounding lakes of the Flagstaff area and take her family on day outings. She liked to travel to neighboring states and enjoyed places like, Lake Tahoe, Santa Fe, San Antonio, Albuquerque, Taos, Corpus Christi, Zuni, Laughlin, etc. In her later years she liked to play bingo and the local slot machines at area casinos. She enjoyedholidays with her family always saying how wonderful it was to be able to get together during those times. She will be sorely missed.

Visitation at Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 4-7pm. Rosary and Mass will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe at 1:00pm with Inurnment to follow at Citizens Cemetery.
