Frances peacefully passed away at home on December 7,2025. Born on September 22,1928 she lived to be 97 years old. Frances was of the Mountain Cove People (Dzilth'lani) and born for Salt (Ashihi) Clan. Born in Shiprock New Mexico, she grew up on a farm in Nenahnezad N.M. She attended Navajo Methodist Mission School (boarding school) in Farmington New Mexico.

She met and married Jonathan L. Lomayesva in 1948, they lived in East Flagstaff on Ellen St. for over 55 years. A Homemaker until all her kids graduated. Frances went to work for the Flagstaff Unified School District as a Food Service worker. Frances served kids from elementary to High school, she went where needed and served in every USDF School in Flagstaff for nearly 30 years. She retired at age 80.

Frances is predeceased by her husband Jonathan L. Lomayesva Sr., Son Johnathan L Lomayesva Jr (aka Pogo), Son David F. Lomayesva, Father Nat Curley, Mother Ora Lee Curley both of Kirkland New Mexico. A young brother Roger Curley, Sisters Virginia Sanderson of Kirkland N.M, Velma Cleveland (Hugh) of Farmington N.M. Victoria Hall (Wayne) of Georgia and recently Brother Nat Curley Jr (Angie) of Nenahnezad N.M.

Frances is survived by Daughter Sharon A. Lomayesva, Daughter Martha D Marek (Larry) and Daughter Lynette J Eckiwaudah (Dennis) 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

No immediate Service. Burial only with close family. A celebration of Life will be held later when the weather is warm.
