Frank Roberts ""Chivo"", 79, passed away peacefully at his home on February 22, 2017 after a long 6 year battle of dementia and failing health.He was born to the late David Roberts and Virginia Cordova Roberts on February 14, 1938, in Winslow, Arizona.He loved playing football for the Winslow Bulldogs throughout his high school years.

He was united in holy matrimony to Emma Chavez on October 10, 1961.This union of 56 years was blessed with two children, Mary Loretta Gallegos (Jesse Rodgriguez) of Moreno Valley, CA and Tina Marie Duran (Andrew Abeyta) of Cortez, Colorado.Frank and Emma lived in Winslow for 10 years and then decided to raise their children in Flagstaff, Arizona.After that they moved to Cortez, CO to enjoy their retirement, where they have been living for the past 17 years.

Frank has two handsome grandchilren Alexander Nicolas and Jacob Perfecto Abeyta whom he loved very much.He is survived by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren; sister Sally Harbolt, of Marion, Ohio; nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, a baby boy, Emma's parents Jacobo Chavez and Adela Chavez, a grandson (baby Joe), and brother's in law, Bob Harbolt and Philip Chavez.

Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.

Memorial services for Frank Roberts will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, 224 S. Kendrick St. in Flagstaff, AZ.Holy Rosary is at 9:00 am, funeral mass is at 10:00 am, burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, if you'd like to help with expenses please mail to 1610 E.
