Gloria F. Linn, age 61 passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5 surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in Douglas Arizona to Genoveva and Edgardo Fernandez on April 1, 1956. She graduated from Douglas high school in 1974 before moving to Flagstaff to attend NAU where she met her ""Romeo"" Jesus F. Linn and acquired her degree in education.

She was a teacher for 25+ years and beloved by students and teachers alike. She was an energetic woman, who had a passion for the game of tennis and was known for her killer backhand. She was an active member of the community, most notably involved with Adopt A Family and the American Cancer Society..

She was a devoted mother, grandmother (Mimi), sister, wife and friend. She touch the lives of everyone she met with her selfless nature, quirky sense of humor and unconditional acceptance for all. Although she was faced with many health issues she displayed insurmountable positivity, strength and fortitude. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years Jesus F. Linn, daughters Yvett, Cristina and Rossana, son Luis and grandchildren Ian, Gabrielle, Joseph and Darrien.

A Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, October 09, 2017 at 7:00 pm at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church, 1600 East Route 66.A funeral mass will be on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 10:00 at San Francisco de Asis Church with burial at Calvary Cemetery following the mass.
