It is with deep sorrow that we announce, Ida Bustamante, 93, a beloved figure of Flagstaff, AZ, passed into her eternal life peacefully in her home in Sunnyside, on June 16th, 2025. She was preceded in departure by her parents Clara and Varisto Bustamante of San Jose, NM, her brother Nestor Bustamante, daughter, Ernestine Tina Tapia and son, Fernandez Fernie Jr. Tapia of Flagstaff, AZ. She is survived by her sister, Jossie Sandoval and children, Cecilio and wife, Shirley Tapia, Clara Tapia, Emily Tapia, and Alex and wife, Bernadette Tapia, 13 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren. Ida had a passion for feeding others. She worked as a cook at Flagstaff Medical Center and Northern Arizona University. She is known for her delicious tortillas, tamales, and always feeding the children of Sunnyside. Ida was a strong woman of abundant faith and love. She will be missed dearly by those who were blessed by her presence. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Maggie's Hospice, Thank you.

Services are to be held on June 23, 2025, at San Francisco de Asis starting at 10am.
