It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ila Rose Hillegas, aged 21, on August 12, 2024. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and girlfriend, whose light and laughter touched everyone she met.

Ila leaves behind her devoted parents, Kim and Tom; her loving brother, Taylor (Toni); her cherished sister, Nicole (Blaine); and her adored nephews, Karter, Grayson, and AJ. She is also survived by her boyfriend, Sebastian, who was her true love, soulmate, and best friend. Ila was treasured by her grandparents Charlotte and Richard, Sharon and Bill, and Marge and Jon.

Her smile could light up any room, bringing warmth and joy to those around her. Her genuine care for others was evident in everything she did, always putting the needs of friends and family before her own. Ila had an infectious laugh and a wonderful sense of humor that made every moment spent with her unforgettable.

Though her time with us was far too short, Ila's spirit and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
