Jennie J. Bojorquez, 97, of Clovis, NM, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. She passed away at her home in the company of her family. Jennie was born on September 24, 1916 to Sixto Juarez and Simona Gaytan, in Flagstaff, AZ. In 1939, she married John C. Bojorquez in Flagstaff, where they raised eight children. In 1971, they moved to Clovis and always claimed to have, "a foot in both states."

Jennie loved the Lord and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grand-mother and great-great grandmother. Her hobbies included: gardening, quilting and ceramics. Her family was her greatest pride and joy and she valued the treasure of friendship. She will be greatly missed.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, a son David J. Bojorquez of Flagstaff and great-grandson David J. (Trey) Bojorquez, III of Flagstaff, her brothers, Jesus, Ralph, Tony, Frank, Joe, Efrain and Pete Warez.

Jennie is survived by her children; Ernestine Ruiz, Flagstaff, Ray (Rosie) Bojorquez, Flagstaff, John S. (Josie) Bojorquez, Valley Center, CA; Albert (Sylvia) Bojorquez, Flagstaff, Charles (Maria) Bojorquez, Clovis, Anita (Dale) Fite, Clovis, Margaret Gonzales, Clovis, 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 33 great-great grandchildren; Brother-in-law Gilbert C. Bojorquez, Santa Paula, CA, cousin Josefina G. Montes, of El Paso, TX, and numerous nephews, nieces and godchildren.

Holy Rosary and vigil will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 7:00 pm, funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July, 22, 2014 at 10:00 am, both at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church, 1600 E. Route 66. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
