IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jodie
Sandoval
January 5, 1963 – December 17, 2016
On December 17th, after a courageous battle with stomach cancer, Jodie Sandoval (Garduño) passed away at her home in Flagstaff. Jodie was a true lover of life, always smiling, and treating everyone with true kindness. She loved her family very much, and enjoyed family vacations, Cardinals games and family events. Jodie spent her life caring for others, with many children growing up at her in home daycare over the past 28 years.
Jodie leaves behind her dedicated husband Joe Sandoval after 29 years of marriage, as well as her children Juan Garcia (Nana's girl Delilah), Andre Sandoval, and Jayla Sandoval and her mother, Aurora Garduño, whom she loved all so much. She also leaves behind her Sandoval family who quickly took her in as their own. Father and Mother in Law, Bernabe and Mary Sandoval, brother and sisters in law, Eleanor (Leandro), Lisa (Danny), Michael (Rachel) Eva (Fred), and Elaine, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins from the Garduño, Vega, and Sandoval families as well as countless children who considered Jodie a second mother.
Jodie's dedication was shown every day to her children, by their side during every happy moment, and every obstacle they faced. She was proud every day of their accomplishments, and the great people they have become in her image.
