John R. Espino of Flagstaff, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 surrounded by family and friends.

He was born in McNary, Arizona on November 6, 1944.He graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1962, served in the National Guard, and worked at Jeld-Wen for 30 years.In 1968, he met the love of his life, Irene.They spent the next 51 years traveling, raising children, sharing laughs, and making memories.John was a lifetime 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a dedicated parishioner of the Catholic Church.

John enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandkids play sports and perform in dance recitals.He enjoyed the outdoors, listening to music, building puzzles, watching novellas, and eating anything sweet.He was an avid NFL fan who enjoyed watching football games from the comfort of his favorite recliner.

John is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Irene; children John (Rhonda), Malinda (Andy), and Matthew (Nicole); grandchildren Trevor, Estavon, Maiya, Melina, and Harley; sisters Alice Garcia, Lina Parks, and Rosemary Alonso, brother Victor Espino, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reymundo and Dolores Espino, and his sisters Helen Rodriguez and RoseAnne Espino.John was an amazing man and will be missed by many.Rest in peace and always remember that You Are Loved.

Services will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at beginning at 11:00 at San Francisco De Asis Catholic Church.
