Juan Agustin Michelena, 66, of Williams passed away on October 20, 2011.He was born on May 1, 1945 in Irurita, Spain to Juan & Maria (Elizalde) Michelena.Agustin came from Spain to northern Arizona in 1969 and worked as a contract laborer for the Redhill Sheep Company. He also worked as a logger for Stone Forest Industries and retired from the Grand Canyon Railway.

Agustin is survived by his wife of 34 years; Geneva "Bobbie" Michelena, daughter; Maria (Mike) Gee of Williams, sons; Juan Michelena of Williams and Adam Zamudio of Williams, sisters; Maria Angeles, Maria Josepha, Maria Ludres, Maria Milagros all of Spain, brother, Juan B. Michelena of Williams and 9 grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother; Tiburcio Michelena, daughter; Alexandra Michelena and granddaughter; Kiana Michelena.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 900 W. Grant Ave. in Williams.A reception will follow at the Sultana Theater, 30 1 W. Route 66 in Williams.
