Reynolds Sr.
June 24, 1940 – April 9, 2022
Larry C. Reynolds Sr., beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather peacefully passed away at home after a long and hard battle with cancer. Larry was surrounded by family and close friends at the time of his passing April 9, 2022. Larry was born in Oklahoma City, OK on June 24, 1940, and spent his early life in Tulsa, OK with his parents and brother Gary E. Reynolds, which he then graduated from Daniel Webster High School in 1958. He worked at Oral Roberts University until he moved to Palm Springs, CA where he met his wife (Mary) and they married in 1964. While in Palm Springs he worked for the Palm Springs Fire Department and Riverside Sherriff Department. In 1970 they moved to Flagstaff, AZ and Larry was hired on the Flagstaff Fire Department. Larry was a dedicated and loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. He loved going fishing at Lake Powell and he loved hunting with his family and brothers of the Fire Department.
Larry is survived by his adoring wife of 58 years Mary Reynolds, his son's Larry C (Veronica) Reynolds Jr. and Steve S. Reynolds. His daughter Shelly R (Donny) Chaddock. Grand children Larry C. (Miruna) Reynolds III, Justin Reynolds, Sharae Reynolds, Karyssa (Ryan) Bertelli, Ashley Chaddock, Dasia Reynolds. Great Grandchildren Jonah Reynolds and Liam Reynolds.
Larry is preceded in death by his father Carall B. Reynolds, mother Lois M. Reynolds, brother Gary E. Reynolds, and son Brian E. Reynolds.
"It is not goodbye; it's till we see you again. We love you and will see you again one day!!!!"
Celebration of Larry's Life will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 10:00 am at Christ Church of Flagstaff, 3475 Soliere Ave, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Reception will follow at the Church.
Family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donate to Fire Fighters Care at Coconino Federal Credit Union.
