Lee Thompson, loving husband and friend to many, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 26, 2018 in Flagstaff, AZ.

He was born in Milwaukee, WI and moved to Tucson, AZ with his family when he was a child. He attended Catalina High School and worked in Tucson several years for Sewell Painting.

In 1980 Lee met Marlinda, they married and moved to Flagstaff where they have resided for 38 wonderful years together.He was the founder and owner of ABS Painting and Decorating.

Lee loved life, was an avid hunter, car enthusiast, collector of beautiful and interesting art, rocks/minerals, antiques and wine.His vegetable gardens were famous and lawns were perfect.He was a shopper, especially for shoes – both his and Marlinda's.

Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Gertrude Thompson, and his brothers, Lowell and Wayne. He is survived by his devoted wife Marlinda, his brother Glenn (Gail), and their children Brett and Kim, sister-in-law Lois and her children Ross, Julie and Robin and sister in law Beverly plus many other relatives.

Not only was Lee's life enriched by his family but he so enjoyed and treasured his breakfast buddies and many, many friends, especially Tommy Bahama. Lee will always be with them!
