Honoring Miss Lenita Vetter, born October 10, 1924 in Perryville, Missouri to Clarence William and Mina (Jacobs) Vetter and ushered into the presence of her Lord at Flagstaff Medical Center on August 1, 2014.She had one sister, the late Marie Vetter.She was preceded in death by her sister in Christ and fellow-missionary, Mary Nemire, who died on July 13, 2013.She is survived by one distant cousin, Margaret Peter, Yorba Linda, California.She graduated from Holton High School in 1942, Holton, Kansas.She attended Capitol City Commercial College and then graduated from Grace Bible Institute, Omaha, Nebraska in 1951.Lenita became a missionary and devoted her life since then as a Bible teacher to the many children, teens & adults throughout northern Arizona, including Window Rock Mission, Indian Bible Church, Flagstaff Mission to the Navajos & ANAM.She was a spiritual mother and grandmother to those she ministered to for 63 years.She will be truly missed by those whose lives she touched.Visitation will be on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 9:00 am with the funeral services to follow at 10:00 am both at Flagstaff Indian Bible Church, 10 W Cherry Ave, Flagstaff.Interment will follow at the Citizens Cemetery.Reception will follow at Calvary Bible Church, Townsend-Winona Rd.Condolences may be sent to Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary or expressed online at www.Flagstaffmortuary.comArrangements are by Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary.
