Linda Carol Bassett ,75, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away of August 18, 2025. Linda had a beautiful, wonderful soul. She touched so many lives in so many ways.

Linda was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona on January 18, 1950. She was a true Arizona girl. She loved riding horses doing outdoor things, and boy did she love her pets!

Linda met her husband Earl in 1988. Earl was also born and raised in Phoenix. And they hit it right away. After they were married, they moved to Parks, AZ because Earl was hired as a firefighter on the Kaibab National Forest.

Linda began working at the Guidance Center in Flagstaff where she worked for several years. She truly enjoyed helping people there, and her coworkers loved her.

Linda loved living in Parks due to the beauty, cool weather, people, and wildlife.

Linda and Earl traveled quite often, traveling to Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Glacier, Bryce, Zion, Arches, these are just a few places they explored. They also would visit family in Washington State and Portland, Oregon many times over the years.

Linda suffered with chronic pain throughout her life. She was small but she was tough. Her pain is gone now. She is in heaven "feeling good".

Linda is survived by her husband Earl, her children Chuck and Christina Turman, and many grandkids and great grandkids.

A ceremony of life will be held at Linda & Earls home at 13209 E Kyla Rd in Parks on August 30 at 10:00 am.

Linda was involved with many animal rescues and we believe she would prefer a donation to support Save Meant to Rescue or Williams Animal Action Group both in Williams, Arizona in lieu of flowers.
