Manuel "Manny" Valdez, 82, was born November 26, 1933 and left home to the Lord on Saturday, June 4, 2016.

Manuel was born in Ramey, Colorado, raised in Raton, New Mexico and resided in Flagstaff, Arizona after retiring from 4 years in the U.S. Air Force and 22 years in the U.S. Navy.

He has lived in Flagstaff for 43 years with his wife Sally B., and children Ellie Marie Ridgley, Emmanuel, Eduardo R. "Eddie" and Enrique A. "Ricky".He has 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his wife Sally B. Valdez.

Manuel enjoyed many things like the outdoors, coaching sports and helping others.He loved his family and friends very much including his dog Mariposa.He will be truly missed by many.

A Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, June 9th at 7:00 pm at San Francisco De Asis Church, 1600 East Route 66.A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 10th at 1:00 pm at San Francisco de Asis Church followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
