Jessie Alonzo passed away suddenly at her home in Flagstaff October 5, 2016.She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all she met.She was a hard worker all her life and did a variety of jobs.But the job she was most proud of was at Navajo Army Depot during WWII handling ammunition and shipping it.She did her part for the war effort and it made her a stronger and loving person for it.

She had many friends and she was last of her circle of friends.She led a quiet life till the end.She was 93 years young.She will be sorely missed most by her son Tony who took care of her in her later years.He was her constantcompanion and loved her very much.She is survived by sons Robert and David Alonzo of Cottonwood, Arizona, Becky Alonzo of Phoenix, Arizona, a granddaughter Regina Rose Bengson also of Cottonwood, Arizona, grandsons Michael Alonzo and David and Richard Hernandez, another granddaughter Vannie Alonzo.She also has one brother and five sisters and their extended families.She is preceded in death by her daughter Margaret Alonzo.

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel.

We will miss her and always love her.Rest in peace Mom.
