Mary A. Budzinski passed away peacefully on February 23, 2012 at age 95.
Most loving Mother of daughter Lauren and sons Allan, Thomas (Carol) and Edmund (Kathleen).Dear Grandmother of Annette Dempski, Maria (Todd) Glazener, Grant (Monica) Bradley, and Drew Bradley; and Great Grandmother of Wyatt Bradley and Abigail Glazener.Further survived by sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and friends.Preceded in death by her beloved husband Edmund, son Daniel, and all her siblings Pauline, Joseph, John, Thomas, and Michael.
Mary Rebro was born in 1917 and raised on the family farm in Moquah, WI.In her teens she moved to Milwaukee, WI to continue her schooling.As a young woman she learned guitar and found work by playing music with her brother and friends in local taverns. As the country moved out of the Depression, she found line work in a factory; it is there that she met Edmund and they married in September 1939.In 1957 they moved their growing family to Grafton, WI.They were devout Catholics and raised their children in the church.The family often vacationed with relatives in Moquah or at one of the many lakes in WI. Another favorite destination was the beach house in North Carolina with large gatherings of extended family.In 1986 they retired and moved to Hayward, CA to be near children and grandchildren. Edmund passed in 1993, so Mary moved with Lauren's family to Flagstaff, AZ in 1996.Mary will be remembered for her sweet smile, loving devotion to her husband and children, and intense loyalty to relatives and friends.
A funeral mass will be held at All Saints Catholic Church in Hayward, CA on March 1, 2012, followed by interment at Lone Tree Cemetery with Edmund.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Olivia White Hospice House, 752 N Switzer Canyon Dr., Flagstaff AZ 86001, or a charity of your choice.
