Maryann K Witsell 83, of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on Wednesday June 1st in her residence surrounded by her family. Maryann was born in Poland on October 1st, 1938. After WWII, Maryann and her family moved to America and lived in Illinois. When MaryAnn was a teenager, she moved with her brother Nicholas to Arizona. Eventually she met and married her husband George, and they raised their family in Scottsdale. The devoted couple were together for 59 years. Maryann leaves a lasting positive impact on the lives of many friends through her long devotion as an AA sponsor, dear friend and loving wife and mother. Maryann is survived by her husband George, her daughter Brenda, son in law Scott and two grandchildren Jordan and Joshua.
