Nancy Arlene Shaw, daughter of George Arthur William Hage and Virginia Lee Hage and sister to Ruth St. Peter, passed away on July 21, 2018.Nancy was married to Donald R. Shaw for 59 years and they have two daughters, Dawn (Dee Dee) Cottone and Terri Adams. Nancy had 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.Nancy was the epitome of a Military Wife. Even though Don was the Marine, Nancy was the tough one. She held everything together when Capt. Shaw was sent on his many military deployments serving our country.

Nancy loved her children and she was constantly on the move taking Terri and Dee Dee to their many athletic and school activities from grade school through high school.She was a constant fixture in the bleachers at Woodard Jr. High and Kofa High School.

Nancy and Don loved spending their summers in their Flagstaff home and winters in the Yuma family home.They enjoyed playing golf and taking walks with their dog, Freddy. When not playing golf, they could be found at the casino playing bingo or the slots In both Flagstaff and Yuma.

We will miss Nancy greatly.She was a beautiful, strong, woman, wife, mother, sister, and friend.Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 26, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Vista Cemetery, Yuma, Arizona.In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Hospice Compassus, 1000 N.
