Richard Johnson Sr, 69, of Ash Fork AZ, passed away, Friday, April 10, 2020 at Flagstaff Medical Center.

A celebration of life service will be held when all the family and friends are able to convene in a group setting. Richard will be spread with his mother and his brother.

Richard was born March 08, 1951 in French Camp, California to Marilyn Johnson. On April 4, 1969, he married his former partner Hilda Langston in Carson City, Nevada. Richard was employed as a truck driver for Tempura Gas Company for many years.Richard and Hilda became legally separating in 1979. Richard was true entrepreneur in life. Richard moved to AZ in 2004 after meeting his life partner Tina Meadows. He found many different ways to support his family throughout the years.He was an avid hunter and fisher He spent most of his weekends fishing out on the lake, hunting or cutting wood. He also enjoyed reading old novels, and spending time with his children and grandchildren whenever he could.

Richard is survived by his son, Richard Johnson Jr and his two daughters Lisa Shelton, and Deanna Smith; Several grandchildren, his brother Carl, his sisters Kimberly, Natalie and Lisa, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn, and his brothers Smiley and Billy.
