Robert Edward Johnson, 63, of Flagstaff, died on March 23, 2011 in his home surrounded by his loving wife and family and under the kind care of Hospice Compassus.Mr. Johnson was born on March 15, 1948 in Chicago, IL to Bernard and Mildred (Seidel) Johnson.Mr. Johnson was in the U.S. Air Force and honorably served during the Vietnam War.He has lived in Arizona for 31 years working as an IT systems programmer and manager until his retirement.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Sharon of Flagstaff, daughters, Elizabeth Johnson, Nicole Johnson, sons, Michael Johnson, Fred Dominy, step-daughters, Melissa and Shannon Vanderbeck, mother, Mildred, sisters, Gladys, Glynis, brothers, Ted, Don, Fred and 4 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth St. Veterans honors will be rendered by the Flagstaff Veterans Organizations.Mr. Johnson will be buried on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 1:30 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ
