Robert Apodaca Sr. 74 of Flagstaff, AZ passed away in his sleep on September 7, 2022, at home after battling a long-time illness. He was born June 17, 1948, in Bellemont, AZ to Lorenzo and Mary Apodaca.

Robert was raised in Sunnyside/La Plaza Vieja (Old Town) with numerous family members and friends. He worked different jobs, but his favorite was Ralston Purina and Ponderosa Tissue. He loved restoring cars and trucks, enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. His greatest and proudest time were the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His major achievements were getting his GED in 1992 and Skydiving in 2009.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Cindy, sons Robert Apodaca Jr. (Mela), Lorenzo Apodaca (Julie), daughters Angela Apodaca (Tony), Patricia Coppick (Ronnie) of Nevada, and Julie Halfast (T.J.), sisters Bernice Valencia, Joann Villas, and Evelyn Guara (Gallup), brother Mercy Apodaca Sr. also his 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Lorenzo and Mary Apodaca.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 1-3 pm at Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth Street. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted at Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary for the family.
