Rose Cleere, 92, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2018 surrounded by loved ones.She was a Donegal girl, born in the northwest coast of Ireland.She left home at an early age in search of work in Scotland and eventually made her way south to London where she met the love of her life, Jack Cleere.They married in 1951 and immigrated to the U.S. in 1953.

They settled in New Jersey, raising their son John, and often visited friends and family in Donegal and London.In 1995 they moved west to Flagstaff, AZ to be near John and their grandchildren, who they actively supported and cheered through all of their endeavors.Rose loved Irish dancing and music; it did not take much to persuade her to breakout into an Irish jig.She was instrumental in the formation of the Northern Arizona Irish Foundation.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, 10 siblings, and her husband Jack.She is survived by her son John (his wife Anita), grandchildren (Christian & Aidan Cleere and Kaine Kennedy), nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.

A special thanks to the wonderful people from TJ's Assisted Living, Northern Arizona Hospice and Comfort Keepers who so lovingly cared for Rose these later years and to Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel on Thursday, October 25th at 10:30 am.In lieu of flowers, donate to your favorite charity or Rose's, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
