Rose Ann Porter, 57, passed away on August 10, 2011 in Flagstaff.She was born on December 14, 1954 in Greenville, Mississippi to John and Sophie (Bennett) Cole.

Rose loved her husband and son.Helping a person in need was most important to her and she made a commitment to help families in need.She was an avid bingo player, lover of animals a huge Barbara Streisand fan and loved Diet Coke.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick Porter, son, Michael Porter, mother, Sophie Niver, step-father, Dick Niver, brothers, John Cole of Flagstaff, Clifton R. Cole of Washington, niece, Ty Pritchard of Phoenix, nephew J.D. Cole of Washington and many cousins and close friends.She is preceded in death by her father, John L. Cole and her sister, Vicky Taylor.

In Lieu of flowers contributions in Rose's memory may be made to First Southern Baptist Church Memorial Fund.Contribution will aid local families in need.

A celebration of Rose's life will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 11:00 am at the First Southern Baptist Church, 951 N. Switzer Canyon Dr.
