Ryan Contreras

Ryan Contreras, age 38, of Flagstaff, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on April 13, 2026.

Ryan was born on June 20, 1987, in Flagstaff, Arizona and graduated from Flagstaff High School in 2005.

Ryan worked at several local establishments, most notably Bun Huggers, where he was a dedicated employee for 17 years. He most recently worked at Mountain Spirits.

He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and the genuine warmth he brought to those around him. He had a love for sci-fi movies, video games, and the Philadelphia Eagles.

He is survived by his mother, Theresa Contreras; sister, Andrea Contreras; nephew, Nathen Diego; uncle, Joseph Contreras; great aunt, Isabel D. Diaz; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary D. Contreras.

Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on May 4th at 10:30 a.m. at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church, 1600 E Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. A rosary will be recited at 10 am. Burial will be immediately after at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 201 W University Dr, Flagstaff, AZ 86001.
