Sirlin (Dick) Niver, age 77, died Friday, February 3, 2012. Sirlin was born and raised in Indiana. He joined the Navy at age 17 and served for 25 years, retiring as a MCPO/E9. After the service he served in the US Civil Service for 15 years. Throughout his service and retirement he found time to become a minister and. He ministered in four states; most recently he attended the First Southern Baptist Church and Mt. View Baptist Church both of Flagstaff. His main passion was attending Sunday School and reading scripture. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Sophie, family, many church families and friends.

A memorial Service will be held Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 12:00 pm at Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. 4th Street.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Southern Baptist Youth Group.
