Obituary

Stephanie Michelle Krstic, 53, of Juniper Wood Ranch, Arizona, woke up in the heavenly arms of her savior on September 23, 2025. Stephanie was born on April 10, 1972, in Riverside to Frank and Elizabeth Terrones. She was the youngest of four siblings and a beacon of love, faith, and generosity throughout her life.

Stephanie, loved her dogs and all animals alike, had a deep passion for gardening and found joy in transforming her home alongside her husband, Nova. She loved the outdoors. She loved camping and spending time at the beach with her family. Over the last decade she stayed close to the land she and the love of her life, spent establishing into their home. Stephanie embraced a simple, intentional life—finding beauty in nature and peace in her surroundings and never forgetting to thank the Lord for all of it.

Her unwavering faith in the Lord was central to who she was. Stephanie's unshakable faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She was a woman of prayer, always seeking God's guidance and trusting in His plan—even through life's most difficult moments. Her Bible was well-worn, not from neglect, but from being opened daily, studied, and lived. She spoke often of God's grace and mercy, and she lived those values every day through her acts of kindness, humility, and service to others. Stephanie would send messages, make phone calls and just encourage her friends and families daily, even while during her own struggle.

Perhaps the greatest testament to who Stephanie was could be seen in how she walked through illness—with quiet courage, unwavering hope, and deep love for others. Even in the hardest days of her battle, she never stopped putting others first. She offered comfort to the people around her, asking about their well-being before her own. She continued to lift others in prayer, give encouragement, and share her faith, even when her own body was growing weak. She never stopped doting on her loving husband, always asking if he had eaten, if he was okay and wanting him to be well. He never left her side, never stopped believing and was fiercely protective of the faith that kept her going.

Stephanie didn't complain—she gave thanks. She didn't withdraw—she leaned in. She didn't focus on what she had lost—but on what she could still give. Her selflessness was not just something she practiced in good times, but something she lived fully even in the most challenging moments. She faced suffering with grace and gave love without limits.

She is survived by her loving husband, Nova Krstic; her daughter, Marina Beth Terrones; her parents, Frank and Elizabeth Terrones; her sisters, Lisa Terrones Rico (Angel) and Helen Copeland (Stan); her brother, Frankie Terrones (Rosie); and many cherished nieces and nephews. Stephanie was preceded in death by her precious baby boy, Ziva Elijah Krstic, whom she now joins in eternal peace.

Stephanie's life was grace, resilience, and love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. We will remember her as a warrior. She lived every day to find another person and show them the wonder of God's love. Her life on earth, although brief, had more purpose filled days than many. Because of that we know that she has heard the words we all hope to hear from our savior, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant, Stephanie. "

"You made it."
