It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend Steven Anthony Sunda, age 67, of Bellemont, Arizona.

Steve passed peacefully in the early morning hours of August 30, 2024, surrounded by family and engulfed in love, following a fall which resulted in a traumatic brain injury. Steve spent most of his professional life as a Semi Truck Driver and his last few months as a delivery driver for O'Reilly Auto Parts. Steve proudly served in the United State Marine Corp and found great joy in dedicating time to many non-profit organizations. Steve loved watching NASCAR and Football with his friends, camping, riding motorcycles, fishing and was always ready for a good time.

Steve leaves behind a large family including his loving, patient wife of 33 years, Jeanne Sunda. Daughters, Sommer Frisk (Michael), Ashley Bowman (JD), Nikkole Zuniga (Steven), Dallas Bradford (Dustin), Candice Sunda, and Sarah Sunda plus 14 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Rebecca Sunda (Pam) and Susan Kimball. Brother, Michael Sunda and many neighborhood and community friends who are loved like family.

Steve's life will be celebrated, Sunday, September 15th at Flagstaff Elks Lodge #499, 2101 N. San Francisco Street, Flagstaff, Arizona.

Military Honors Ceremony will begin at 10:30am with memorial service at 11:00am.
