Thomas Runion, 87, passed away in Camp Verde, Arizona on October 7, 2024. Born September 10, 1937, in Dover, New Jersey to Mary and William Runion. As a child he was raised on his parents' farm. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Robert and sister Marian. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Barbara, three daughters, Ellen Winchester, Bonnie Kleiner, and Susanne Runion, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, his sister Dorothy Donofrio and many nieces and nephews.

He served in the Navy during peacetime stationed on the USS New Jersey battleship. He worked as a Senior Scientist of Biology and Chemistry in research and development for Novartis. He and Barbara moved to Summerfield, Florida shortly after the turn of this century and recently moved to Camp Verde, Arizona to be closer to family.

Mr. Runion's interests were tennis, gardening, pet cats, crossword and sudoku puzzles, softball, reading, trivia, hiking and biking.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 3, 2024, from noon to 2:00pm at: 1625 S Sullivan Lane, Camp Verde, AZ 86322. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to either The Salvation Army or The Make-a-Wish Foundation in Thomas' name.
