Victor Espino of Flagstaff passed away on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, with his family by his side.
He was born in McNary, Arizona on November 21, 1936. His family eventually relocated to Flagstaff and lived in Los Chantes for several years. He attended South Beaver Elementary School, Flagstaff Junior High School, and Flagstaff High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1965.
Victor was a dedicated parishioner of the Catholic church. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the Arizona Cardinals and Phoenix Suns games from his favorite recliner. Victor had a calm and quiet demeanor and will be dearly missed by those closest to him.
Victor is survived by his sisters Lina Parks, Alice Garcia, and Rosemary Alonso as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reymundo and Dolores Espino, his sisters Helen Rodriguez, RoseAnne Espino, and his brother John Espino.
A special thank you to Maggie's Hospice Palliative Care Services for providing Victor with exceptional end of life care.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 30th at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Arrangements are by Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary & Crematory.
